Virginia A. Ashley

Virginia was a loving mother who cared deeply for her family. She had a passion for keeping things neat and tidy and took pride in maintaining a spotless home. She also had a great love for animals, especially her white dove, Snowball.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (George) Ashley-Clark; her sisters, Olive Wilson of Mount Sterling and Toby Roberts of Louisa, KY; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Ashley; her two sons, Billy Steven Ashley and David Timothy Ashley; her sisters, Eula Hughes, Ruby Moore, Lucille Burrier, Bessie Hanna, Opal Webb, and Loray Frasher; and her brothers, Edgar Compton, Lucian Compton, Henry Compton, Jimmy Compton, Drew Compton, and Tommy Compton.

Private services will be held. Flowers may be sent to Schoedinger Midtown.
