

Virginia "Myrtle" Langley, age 95, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was born in New Holland, Ohio on September 18, 1921 to the late Jack and Goldie Farmer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie "Conard" Langley; sons, Bill and Jack Langley; daughter, Karen Hood; sons in-law, Jack Watson and Jim Hood; four grandchildren; brothers, Junior and Bob Farmer; and brother in-law, John Cardwell. Myrtle is survived by her children, Ruth Watson, Judy Langley, Lilly (Charles) McKeever, Mike (Janice) Langley, David (Debbie) Langley, and Goldie Langley; daughter in-law, Dorothy Langley; sisters, Becky Cardwell and Goldie (Larry) Bagby; over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was saved as a teenager and was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church. Myrtle was a good and faithful servant of the Lord and was devoted to her whole family. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Central Baptist Church, 1955 Frank Road, Columbus, Ohio 43223 where funeral service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00AM. Pastor Tim Womack and Pastor Tim Lapish officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. Donations in Myrtle's memory may be made to Central Baptist Church.
