Virginia C. Pennington

Virginia C. Pennington, age 77 of Laurelville, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1936 in Circleville, daughter of the late Clarence and Doris (Lowery) Boltenhouse. She was a member of the Adelphi Methodist Church. She loved reading, flower gardening, and fixed great meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. She is survived by her husband Willard Pennington; children Evelyn Hood of Athens, Michael Pennington of Columbus, and Kevin (Geneva) Pennington of Kentucky; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; close friend and neighbor Mary Ashmore.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 in the chapel of the Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville with Rev. John DeMint officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
