

Voula Vlahos, born May 2, 1933, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Center in Wheeling, IL. Mr. and Mrs. Pericles Vlahos immigrated from Exanthia, Lefkas Greece in February of 1968. They came to Zanesville, Ohio and operated Clossmans Dry Cleaners. She is preceded in death by her parents Haralambos and Amalia Vlahos; two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her loving husband Pericles Vlahos; children Georgia Vlahos, Rita (Scott) Smithers, George (Nancy) Vlahos, Emily (Randy) Gerber and Gus (Daniella) Vlahos; grandchildren Emily, Zoe, Nikko, George, Sophie, Maria, Kristina, Athan, Novak; brother-in-law, Nikki (Theresa) Vlahos and their son, Athan Vlahos and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at The Annunciation-Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Graveside service and interment 1:00 p.m. that afternoon at Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville, Ohio.
