Walter G. Collins, Jr. age 85, died Saturday, January 26, 2013. He was born June 24, 1927 in Chillicothe, OH to the late Walter G. and Anna Marie Collins, Sr. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brother James, sisters Jean James and Mildred Draper. He is survived by wife Nellie Collins, son Mike (Terri) Collins, daughter Luann (David) Knight, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, two stepsons Jim Montgomery and Charles “Bud” (Linda) Montgomery, many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard as Signal Man 3rd Class 10/14/1943-4/16/1946. His wishes are to be cremated and to be buried in Galloway Cemetery.
