Walter A Hundt

Walter was born on June 6, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Walter A., Sr. and Anna Hundt. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelors in Computer Science. He was a computer system analyst for the State of Ohio where he retired in 2005.

Walter was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed life and his family. He was the most patient and kindest person that his family ever knew. He loved spending time sitting on the back patio watching birds, loved gardening, and was very proud of his flowers and lawn. Walter loved the outdoors and would love to go on hikes. He loved traveling with his family and travelled cross country, seeing the St. Louis Arch, Yellowstone, Las Vegas and San Diego to name a few places.

In addition to his late parents, Walter is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Hundt; his son, Michael Hundt; and his granddaughter, Courtney Hundt.

Walter is survived by his second wife, Jan Hundt; his son, David (fiancé Cheryl Bergsman) Hundt; his daughters, Karen (Andy) Blackburn and Nikki (Shawntaya) Robbins; his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hundt; his grandchildren, Melora (Kevin) Nye, Cameron Hundt, Ty Hundt, Reagan Blackburn, Jackson Blackburn, Grant Blackburn, Madison Scott, Julie Mason, Brandon Mason, Reshaun, and Craig; his sister-in-law, Anna Bernard; his many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Family will accept friends on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 12:00pm noon.
