Wanda Linkous

Wanda G. Linkous, age 66, passed away with her family gathered together on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Doctors Hospital West. Wanda was born on April 10, 1953 in Kermit, WV to Homer and Adie Nickels. Wanda was a dedicated and reliable employee with Micro Electronics celebrating 25 years of service this month. She also worked for Sears Distribution for 21 years. Wanda will be remembered for being loyal, stubborn and having a disturbing sense of humor. She was deeply loved and will be missed everyday by her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Michael "Bill" Linkous; parents, Homer and Adie Nickels; and brother-in-law, Johnny Staton. Survived by her children, Tina (Keith) Chappelear, Mandy Antle and Matt Antle; grandchildren, Caleb and Cole Strother, Nathan Stats and Katlyn Antle; siblings, Big Donnie (Libby) Nickels, Phyllis Staton and Little Donnie Mullins; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Doctors West ICU Staff for their care and support during this difficult time. Family and friends may visit from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger (Hilltop Chapel), 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment Alton Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
