

Warner C. Keplar, III, age, 62, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 12, 2010. He fought a long and courageous battle with ALS. He was born in Columbus on February 16, 1948 to Warner and Betty Keplar. Warner served his country proudly in the US Army, where he was awarded a Purple Heart for his bravery and valor. He loved God and faithfully attended Vineyard Columbus for several years. He was known as a “jack-of-all-trades” and could fix virtually anything. Warner had a deep love for his family. He was a kind and gentle man, with a loving spirit. His family will forever miss his companionship and his sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 43 years, Patty; father, Warner; children, Tami (Rich) Perrine, Warner C. (Briana) Keplar, IV; grandchildren; Blake, Lexie, Avery, Coffman, Carson and Kayla; siblings, Vicki Compton, Michael A. Keplar and Deborah (Mike) Griffith. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL 5554 Karl RD. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, November, 19, 2010.
