Wayne M. Barnes

Wayne was an Army veteran and lived in Gahanna for the last forty-five years. Before retirement he spent twenty-six years at Sears Northland where he worked in sales and as a car services advisor. He had a love for animals and very much enjoyed travelling around the country visiting the state capitals.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his wife, Lynne Ann, sister, Margaret, and grandson, Seth.

Wayne is survived by his children Paul (Buffie) Barnes and Julie (Greg) Nidiffer; grandchildren Maximillion (Christine) George, Alec Barnes, Nicholas McCann, Cassady Barnes, Wyatt Barnes, Gwenith Barnes, Emily Nidiffer, Tristan Barnes, and his great-grandchildren, Paislee Barnes, Noah George, Ariella George, and Bryson Barnes.

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; where a service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10am. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center.
