William David Cooper

William David Cooper, adorned as "Dave", age 85. He is survived by his Son Mike Cooper and Grandson Cameron Cooper. Other family members include his daughter in-law Andrea McCarthy-Cooper, and a few Dear friends, specifically Cynthia Elder and Cecil Gouke both near and far. Dave was a man who always wanted to do things his way. You know? For better or for worse. As a father, he enjoyed coaching Mike in baseball and football, and so many more people who had the pleasure of his coaching couldn't agree more. Dave was a man of few words, but when he expressed himself, he could fill a room with a thunder of laughter and impeccable knowledge. Dave was an avid Buckeye Fan and he really loved his dogs! For over 30 years, he dedicated himself to Knolls Realty. He enjoyed building and remodeling homes with Moscey Knolls Cooper (wife deceased). He will be remembered for all that he did. The presence he gave. The grace that followed up. The statuesque person he was, and yet the gentle ear that heard every word uttered. In lieu of flowers, it was his heartfelt wish that any donations go to the Pilot Dog Foundation, 625 W. Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00pm Friday, December 17, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN, 229 E. State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
