William E. Detillion, age 87, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 7, 2013 at Arbors of Delaware. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from the Columbus Police Department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Detillion. Affectionately known as “Daddy Bill”, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shirley (Samuel) Natoli; grandchildren, James (Kristen) Natoli, Mark Natoli and Tina (Ric) Hotchkiss; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Erica, Cory and Tyler; great-great-grandchild, Hayden Natoli and sister, Lorraine Merrill. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229 where services will be held at 10am Thursday; interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Angels (HOPE-Helping Our Pets Everywhere), 5666 Morgan Rd. New Albany, OH 43054.
