

William M Eberly, age 60, of Columbus, passed away Monday evening, January 9, 2012 at Kobacker House surrounded by his family, where he received warm and loving care for his battle with liver cancer. Born February 25, 1951, in Columbus, OH, Bill was a 33 year employee of AkzoNobel. A 1969 graduate of Bishop Ready High School, Bill enjoyed all sports, but especially his opportunity to play golf. An avid movie goer and passionate Baltimore, and later Indianapolis Colts fan, Bill is remembered for his great sense of humor and love of his family. He was also a lifelong OSU Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by parents Fran and Darleen (Kay) Eberly; brothers Casey Eberly and Patrick Eberly. Survived by his loving Sandy Wright and daughter Stephanie (Eric) Smith with grandkids Hanna and Nathan; brother Richard (Mary Beth) Eberly, sisters Kitty (Jerry) Visintine, Susan Lowry, Betsy Terrell, Margie (Steve) Ator, Molly Eberly, Mary Eberly and Colleen (Bill) Rezabek; sisters- in-law Diane (Howe) Eberly and Marty (Luken) Gossett, along with many beloved aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
