William "Bill" Engel

William “Bill” Engel, age 48, of Gahanna, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. He was born on November 25, 1964. Bill grew up in Clintonville and graduated from Bishop Watterson High School. He attended Columbus State and Franklin University. A proud father, Bill was always active on the sidelines cheering for his children during sports and activities. He loved his family dearly. He also enjoyed watching his favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers and listening to music. Bill worked for DFAS Defense Finance and Accounting Services for the past 20 years. He was a kind-hearted loving soul and he will be greatly missed. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Jack Engel; brothers, Mike Engel and Rick Engel. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Rhonda Engel; children, Ryan Engel, Tyler Engel, and Courtney Engel; mother, Mary J. Engel; sisters, Terri (Jack Dauben) Engel, Kris Engel, Tammi Engel, Patti Engel and Juli (Mike) Cramer; father-in-law, Norman Quinn; mother-in-law, Regina Quinn; brother-in-law, Joe (Lori) Quinn; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cats. Friends may call from 1-3pm & 4-6pm on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at BEECHER RD) Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Monday, December 10, 2012. Interment at Mifflin Cemetery.
