

William L. "Bill" Folk, 88, died Sunday, March 26, 2017. He was born May 22, 1928 in Concord, OH to the late Jesse and Virginia (Cox) Folk. Bill was a truck driver for several different companies and then retired from Columbus School Systems as a bus driver. Bill and his wife Jean were members of the Sundowners Square Dance Group for 10 years. He was also a member of CORKS Model Airplane Club and enjoyed woodworking and vegetable gardening. Bill is preceded in death by his wife Jean, grandson Kevin Folk and brothers-in-law Dale Thompson and Kirby Bristow. He is survived by his sons David (Linda) and Larry (Judy), 3 granddaughters, Melissa, Jodie and Katie, granddaughter-in-law Rachel, and 4 great grandchildren and 2 sisters-in-law Donna Thompson and Alice Bristow. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. where a funeral service will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
