

William Franklin Hess Sr., age 76, passed away Saturday July 13, 2013. He was born September 10, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Lester and Cleo Hess. He was a former professional wrestler in the National Wrestling Alliance and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; brothers, Robert, Edward, Charles, Lester and James Hess; and sister, Norma Jean Hess. Bill is survived by his children, Brenda Hardyman, Margaret Hess, William Hess II (Judy); sister, Kimberly Campbell (Robert); grandchildren, Martin Hardyman Jr. (Molly), Michael Hardyman, Melanie Hall (Adam), William Hess III (Amber), Andy McWilliams (Rose), and Kathleen Harper (Michael); great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kiley, Kaleb, and Karson Hardyman, Luke and Beau Hall, Charlotte, Ruthanne, Primrose, and Genevieve Hess, Jaxon McWilliams, and Nicole Harper; special niece, Carol Samples (Leonard); special friend, Judy Shrader and family; and many dear friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday July 15, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church, 3005 Holt Rd., Grove City where family will receive friends one hour prior. Pastor Tom Pauquette officiating.
