

Preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Ethel (Randolph) Hopper; and sisters, Rosalie Breeze and Ruth Demuth. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Anna (Simcoe) Hopper; daughters, Mary Ann Hopper and Linda (Jim) Bollas; grandchildren, Alex, Audrey, and Jay Bollas; sister, Maxine (Ted) Fish; and beloved nieces and nephews.
Bill was a proud member of the American Legion, having served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for the Columbus Stove Company from 1956 to 1978, where he rose to the position of Financial Vice President. He then served as the Controller for Simmons until his retirement in 1989. Bill’s integrity, loyalty, and humor will be greatly missed.
The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus.
