Dan was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and a loyal Buckeye fan. He volunteered with Canine Companions for 39 years making appearances and doing demos with his service dogs as well as serving on the Board of Directors several years. He was a remarkable man who met whatever challenge life gave him, quadriplegia, cancer, and myasthenia gravis, facing each new obstacle with strength and determination. Dan was an avid storyteller and shared his stories with anyone who would listen. Please keep telling Dan’s story. The grief his family and friends feel is our love for him persevering.
