William T. "Bill" Lang

William T. “Bill” Lang, age 58, of Gahanna, Ohio departed this life on April 17, 2010 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School and received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. A long time employee of George Byers, Inc. he worked at various locations as a Part’s Manager. He is survived by his mother, D. Jean Lang, of Rochester, NY; father, L. Herbert (Susan) Lang, of DeWitt, NY; brother, Kevin J. (Mona) Lang; sister, Polly A. (Richard) Youll of Henrietta, NY; nieces, Jennifer and Stefanie Lang; nephew, Michael C. Walker, of Henrietta, NY; aunts, Joanne (Michael) Skyler of Madison, AL and Mary Ann (Richard) Newton of Lockport, NY; several cousins; and his many good friends and coworkers at Byers and Gatsby’s in Gahanna. Bill was an avid sports enthusiast, loyal fan of the NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and the Columbus Blue Jackets. He attended the Kentucky Derby each year with his brother Kevin and others, went fishing and golfing with his many friends in Columbus throughout the year to various places in the United States and Canada. Bill will be remembered at a memorial service at 6 pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Middleport, NY and he will be interred there in the family cemetery plot.
