William "Larry" Richards

William “Larry” Richards, age 48, passed at home Thursday evening, March 22, 2012. He was born in Columbus on July 24, 1963 to Bill and Joan Richards. He had a long and successful career at Huffman’s Market. Larry had many interests in life; he loved sports, and was huge fan of the Buckeyes, the Columbus Clippers and the Cleveland Browns. He was an accomplished pianist, played softball and loved dogs. Above all else Larry loved his family; especially his daughter, Jessica. He was a kind and gentle man that truly enjoyed life. He faced all of his challenges with dignity and a sense of humor. He will be missed by all the people that were fortunate enough to call him friend and family. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Helen; daughter, Jessica; mother Joan; siblings, Roger (Lin) Richards, Betty (Mike) Brecht, grandmother, Elizabeth Klingaman; nieces, Samantha (Jared) White, Sara (John) White; and great niece, Phoebe and extended family. Friends may call from 3-5 pm, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel 6699 North High Street, Worthington, OH where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 26, 2012.
