Willis Foster Hilling

Willis F. Hilling, age 73, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017. He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on March 27, 1944 to the late Foster and Lucille Hilling. He retired from General Maintenance and Engineering after 34 years of dedicated service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Willis Foster Hilling, Jr.; grandson, Jordan T. Hilling; and grandparents, Chester and Ada Hilling. Willis is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marcia Hilling; children, Mary (Bill) Hopkins, Jessica (Jamie) Eichel, Amanda (Mark) Bostic, Willis (LaDonna) Hilling, and Bryan (Megan) Hilling; grandchildren, Jade, Ashton, Kendra, Keira, Anthony, Madyson, Kaitlyn, Brylie, and Carmella; special brother in-law, James Hamrick; brother in-law, Ralph (Annie) Hamrick; special friends, Mary Jenkins and Briana Edstorm; and many cousins, nephews, and friends. Willis was hardworking, strong, and devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 1:00PM with visitation 11:00AM-1:00PM at Nicholson Chapel, Summers School Road, Morgantown, West Virginia 26508. Interment will follow at Summers Cemetery.
