I was so sad to come across this obituary tonight while searching for an old friend. I found Wilma's address in an old address book tonight and thought I would see if I could find an updated address so I could send her a Christmas card. I worked with Wilma at American Health Packaging nearly 20 years ago. She was my supervisor on 2nd shift for 5 years. We had a lot in common and became close. Love of God and family, collecting angels, and the same values. I was new and she took me under her wing. I became disabled and had to quit work. We kept in touch for a while but eventually as happens we stopped calling, then writing. I'd think of her over the years and when I saw her address tonight I thought I am really going to get in touch with her. Too late sadly. To her family, I am sorry for your loss as I know you miss her even now. She talked about her family all the time and I felt I knew you! She was a lovely woman and a sweet, sweet friend. Wilma, and I was close friends in school and I was just thinking of her a few day ago. I'm  sad at her pasting and may God be with her family at this sad time.

She was always my baby even though we were less than 2 yrs apart.  

I was very saddened to hear that Wilma has passed.  She was a wonderful person and I always loved talking with her when she worked with me at American Health Packaging.  I missed her a lot when she left our company.  Prayers to everyone that knew and loved her!  Karen Hooks

The Cox and Metz farms were close together in rural Vinton County.
We played together as siblings when we were children. Our lives was
full of fun and sometimes tears, but always full of imagination Wilma was
a beautiful person inside and out. She will never be forgotten.

Grew up with Wilma and the family. Had so much fun when we were younger. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. God has taken a beautiful Angel home. No more pain or suffering. Wilma will always be in your hearts along with her memories. Rest In Peace, Wilma....May God be with each of you during this trying time of your life.

i remeber her letting me drink my first beer with my cousin  robby in the basment when he came back from the military..always being the cool aunt who would lemme do what ever i wanted as long as i didnt tell mom lol..i think everyone had an aunt or uncle like that and if they didnt i feel sorry for them because they where fun times...
