Winifred Elizabeth Hill

Winifred Elizabeth (Sayre) Hill, age 93, of Upper Arlington, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 22, 2015. She was born March 28, 1922 in Graham Station, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Olson and Linna Sayre. Besides her parents, Winifred was preceded in death by her son, Randall S. Hill in 1983; her husband of 66 years, Harold B. Hill, 2014 and two brothers and two sisters. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put her family first. She is survived by her children, Philip C. (Dorothy) Hill, Upper Arlington, Mindy Hill (John) Valan, Lancaster, PA, Gary D. Hill, West Chester, PA and Ken E. (Robin) Hill, Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Kendall, Connor, Kaitlyn, Randy, Amanda, Jason, Ethan, Matt (Tina) and Meredith (Danny); seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Danny Sayre and Ben Sayre and sister, Agnes Meredith; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

She attended Marshall University. Winifred was a member of Twig, Children’s Hospital, OSU Mother’s Club and Community Chapter # 488, Order of Eastern Star.
