Wolderufael Tesfamariam Nugusse

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our father Inspector Wolderufael Tesfamariam Nugusse on September 4, 2026 in a hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Inspector Wolderufael Tesfamariam Nugusse was born from his father Boromboras Tesfamariam Nugusse and his mother Mrs. Meselesh Gebremedhin on January 15, 1937 in Adiyakulu, zoba Debub, Eritrea. When he reached school age, he attended school at Saint Geourgeo school in Mende Fera, Eritrea. He also completed business administration correspondence classes. While attending school, he got married to Mrs. Abeba Tesfazghi Bahta. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Abeba Tesfazghi Bahta.

He is survived by his loving children Eyob Wolderufael, Fessahaye Wolderufael, Tesfaldet Wolderufael, Dr. Saba Wolderufael, Ghenet Wolderufael, Dawit Wolderufael, Akhberet Wolderufael, Abraham Wolderufael, Dr. Yacob Wolderufael, Ermiyas Wolderufael, Musie Wolderufael, Yonatan Wolderufael, Solomon Wolderufael, Tesfalem Wolderufael, Bisrat Wolderufael, Daniel Wolderufael, Dr. Semere Wolderufael, and Yafiet Wolderufael. He is also survived by his 30 loving grand children.

Mr. Wolderufael's first job was with Ministry of customs and Revenue, after working a few years, he resigned from his job. After resigning from his first job, he started working in Internal Revenue Service in Eritrea. While working at the Internal revenue services, he opened his own successful personal business. Mr. Wolderufael served his country Eritrea by joining "Hafash Wudibat" forces until Eritrea's independence.

Mr. Wolderufael was a man of boundless energy, intelligence, passion, and love. Throughout his life, he touched many lives with his humor, wisdom, kindness, intelligence, and work ethics. He had passion for business and unwavering pursuit of truth. His legacy of humor, perseverance, love, and family value will be carried on by the people who had the privilege of knowing him. His remarkable life will forever be an inspiration to his family. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00pm on Friday, September 11, 2026 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221.

Funeral Service will be held from 8:00-10:30am on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at St. Mary Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church, 1415 Sunbury Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219.

ስፐቶረ ወልደሩፋኤል ተስፋማሪያም ንጉሰ ኣብ ጥሪ 15 1937 ካብ ኣቦኦም በረምበራስ ተስፋማሪያም ኑጉሰን ካብ ኣዲኦም ወይዘሮ መሰለሽ ገብረመድህንን ኣብ ዓድያኹሉ ዞባ ደቡብ ኤርትራ ተወለዱ። ኣብ መስከረም 04 2026 ብሕማም ምኽንያት ኣብ ኮሎምቦስ ኦሃዮ ሆስፒታል ኣብ 89 ዓመቶም ካብዛ ዓለም ብሞት ተፈልዬም።

ዕድሚኦም ንቲምህርቲ ምስ ኣኸለ ኣብ ሰይንት ጆርጆ መንደፈራ ቲምህርቶም ፈጸሙ። ድሕሩ ድማ ብኮረስፖንደንስ ቢዚነስ ኣድሚንሲትራሽን ትምህርቶም ፈጸሙ። ዕድሚኦም ንሓዳር ምስ ኣኸለ ምስ ወይዘሮ ኣበባ ተስፋዝጊ ባህታ ቃል ኪዳን ኣሰሮም ሓዳሮም መስረቱ።

ስፐቶረ ወልደሩፋአል ተስፋማሪያም ንጉሰ ኣቦ 18 ቆልዑ እዮም።

ከምኡ ውን ኣባሓጎ 30 ቆልዑት እዮም።

ብሞያ ድማ መጀመርያ ፍላንሳ ተኸተቦም ክሰርሑ ድሕሪ ምጽናሕ ካብ ፍላንሳ ብድልየቶም ተሰናበቱ። ቀጺሎም ኣብ ኣታዊ ዊሽጢ ሃገር ኢንስፐክቶር ኮይኖም ኪሰርሑ ጀመሩ። ኣቶ ወልድሩፋኤል ኣዝዮም መስተውዐሊ በሊሕን ኪአላን ስለዚነበሩ ኣብ ጎኒ ጎኒ ናይ ኣታዊ ዊሽጢ ሃገር ሲርሖም ድማ ናይ ንግዲ ቲካላት ብምኽፋት ዕውት ሂወት ነበሮም። ጡረታ ምስ ወጹ ድማ ነቲ ዕውት ትካላቶም ብ ብሉጽ መሪሒነት ምእላይ ቀጸሉ።

ስፐቶረ ወልደሩፋኤል ዉፉይ ሓፍሽ ዉድባት ኮይኑም ን ህዝቦምን ንሃገሮም ኤርትራን አና ኣገልገሉ ከለዉ ኪልተ ጊዜ ተኣስሩ ። ሓንሳብ ኣብ ኣስመራ ኣብ ግቢ ኣሲሮም ናብ ኣዲስ ኣበባ ናብ ኣለም በቃኝ ኡስር ቤት ሰደድዎም ብዲሕሪኡ ድማ ኣብ ኣስመራ ተኣሲሮም ነበሩ።
