Zula Tatman

Zula McCombs Tatman, 96, of London, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 13, 2015. She grew up in Brownsville, KY where she met and married Gilbert Eugene Tatman, her lifelong love of 72 years, on Christmas Day in 1940. Zula was a proud school teacher and began teaching in a one room school in Kentucky and eventually taught in the Southwestern City School District and West Jefferson Schools in the Columbus area. Zula and Eugene retired to Sun City West, AZ and lived there for 10 years before moving to London, Ohio. Zula was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene. She is survived by their four children: Barbara Sharon (Dan) Petrosky of Huntsville, AL; Micki (Al) Hane of Grove City, OH; Sonya (Joe) Cramer of Murrieta, CA; and Brad (Joan) Tatman of Dublin, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers, and her loving family at the Madison House in London, Ohio. Services will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Visitation is from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service.
