“Bruce was a Middletown firefighter for 17 years. On the morning of 9/11, Bruce felt it was his duty to volunteer and help at ground zero. He spend over a week down at the World Trade Center, risking his health and life to help others. In his journey to ground zero, Bruce was apart of the rescue team who found and saved two port authority police officers. Bruce’s efforts to help and saves others lives will never be forgotten.”
A viewing for Bruce Miller will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Higgins in New City. A memorial visitation for Bruce Miller will also occur at 113 Lake Road Congers Higgins Funeral Home on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
