Catherine Stack (nee Walsh) passed away peacefully at Nyack Manor Nursing Home on Sunday January 2, 2011. Catherine was born on July 11, 1911 to the late Mary and Eddie Walsh in Knocknagoshal, County Kerry, Ireland. Catherine is survived by her son Andrew of Bradenton, FL; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Edmond and son Edmond Jr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home 113 Lake Road East, Congers, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Paul's Church in Congers, with Burial to follow in St. Raymonds Cemetery in Bronx, NY.
