Diane Fay-Berbenich, 71, passed away July 29th 2021, Diane was born April 23rd, 1950 to Geraldine (Harrigan) and Joseph Fay in Nyack NY, She graduated from Clarkstown High School in New City, NY, received her Bachelors degree from Dominican College in Blauvelt, NY and received her Masters degree from Long Island University at West Point, NY. She worked for the Orange County Family Courts as Coordinator of the Mental Health Assessment Team. She also had a private practice as a family counselor in Highland Mills, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Berbenich. She is survived by her brothers Joseph Fay Jr and Gerard Fay and her sister Kathleen Mishebow (Mark). Also her nieces Victoria Essig (Mike) and Jennifer Keyes (William) as well as her great nephews and nieces Robert, Brianna, Emma, and John. Diane was an avid writer and poet who cherished her time with her family and her beloved cats. Memorial donations can be made to the Rockland County Animal Shelter. A private graveside service will be held.
