Douglas E Hirschi

Douglas Hirschi of Congers, NY, 55 years old, passed away on November 5, 2016. Doug was born on March 19, 1961 to Edward and Constance Hirschi. Doug served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid New York Rangers, Giants and Yankee fan, but most of all a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife Louise Hirschi, daughter Meagan Hirschi, son Ryan Hirschi, and stepson Jason LaGuardia. He is also survived by his sisters Margaret Safavi (Fred), Sandra DiBlasio, mother-in-law Elaine Tripodi, and brother-in-law Fred Tripodi (Linda). In addition to his nieces and nephews; AJ and Arthur Safavi, Anthony DiBlasio, and Justin, Jackie, and Jordan Tripodi. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 10am, St. Paul’s Church, Congers, NY, followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Congers, NY.
