Jess G. Calungcagin

Jess G. Calungcagin, 61, of Valley Cottage, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2015 surrounded by his wife and children at New York-Presbyterian (Columbia) Hospital. Born in the Philippines to Lucio and Catalina Calungcagin, he lived most of his life in Valley Cottage, New York.

Jess is survived by Maria Angelina, his wife of 35 years, son Jess (Tiffany) Calungcagin, grandchildren Jess Gregory, Veronica, and Thomas, daughter Anna Calungcagin, daughter Christina (Robert) Gorozdi, grandchildren Anthony, Sophia, and Lucas, daughter Monica (Marc) Cammarata and grandchildren Oliver and Chloe, and son John Michael Calungcagin, and many loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Jess was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all.

A time of gathering will be held on Thursday, October 1 from 7-9pm and Friday, October 2 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home at 113 Lake Road Congers, NY 10920. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 10am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church at 82 Lake Road, Congers, NY 10920.
