Mrs. Fitz was a special lady. She cared for the students of Nyack like they were her own even when in detention. I remember being excited to introduce my mom to her in Shoprite. Mom asked “what class does he have with you?” I said “detention” and we all just kind of smiled.

Thanks for caring Mrs. Fitz, you had a way of directing the kids in the right direction and I’ll never forget you.

Kristin, Russell, Barbara, Jackie and your wonderful, beautiful families were so near to Judy's heart. She loved you all so much and I heard all about you every time I spoke to her. I cherish the memories I have of my oldest and dearest friend, from the time I was 3 and she was 4, growing up on Bellevue Ave. and I will miss her terribly. May God keep you in his arms and give you strength.
Rest in peace, my BFF.

Dear Kristin. Russell, Barbara & Jackie... as you can see from the beautiful loving notes from your Mom's friends, your Mom was truly loved by us all. She will be missed by us all. She was kind, caring, compassionate, told you how she saw it and to us who needed comfort and understanding, she was there.
Rest in peace my dear friend, 'till we meet again...do love you.

Dearest Judy:

You will be truly missed by your Gorton High School 59rs. You were our little "Sunshine Girl" spreading sunshine weekly to all of us and keeping us all communicated throughout the years, sending birthday cards, get well cards, etc.

You are a very special friend, but I know you are happy being together again with the love of your life, Russ. Your life was never the same without him.

My condolences and sympathies go out to your wonderful family. How sad for everyone.
