Kenneth F. Creegan

Kenneth Creegan of Haverstraw, NY, 73 years old, passed away March 7, 2023 in Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Ken had lived in Valley Cottage for 36 years before selling his home. He was born in the Bronx on November 13, 1949 to Evelyn and John Creegan. A graduate of St. Brendan’s Grammar School, Cardinal Hayes HS and St. John’s University, Ken married his HS sweetheart Pat in June of 1972 after completing his active duty in the Marine Corps Reserves. He owned the Archer Deli for 10 years and then was a Sales Rep for various food vendors. He retired in 2010 and enjoyed oil painting, practicing the piano and hitting the beach at his condo in Mantoloking. “Young Ken” was a true beach bum who is survived by his devoted wife Pat (Ward), his brothers Jack and Dennis (Susan), sister Eileen Moscati (Tom), 18 nieces and nephews and 33 grandnieces and nephews. Everyone who met Kenny found him to be a gentle, happy person who knew how to enjoy life.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2-7pm at Higgins Funeral Home 113 Congers Lake Road East, Congers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 11:30am, at St. Paul & St. Ann’s Church, 82 Lake Road,Congers, NY, followed by internment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY.
