Lillian M. Garrison

Lillian was born to Jennie and Vincenzo Sutera on September 1, 1914 in Boston, Mass and was a lifelong resident of Nyack, a member of St. Ann's Church and past member of the Rosary Society. She took pride in her profession as a RN. She worked at Nyack Hospital in her earlier years. Her pride and joy was her family. She was married to Bernie Garrison for 56 years until his passing in 1993. She is survived by five children, Richard and wife Dottie of The Villages, FLA, Carol O'Connor and husband Ben of Surprise, AZ, James and wife Jane of Hebron, MD; Mary Leyden and husband Lee of Easton, MD; and Peggy Gleason and husband Ed of Creedmoor, NC.

She was predeceased by her son Thomas in 2008.

Lillian was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. Visiting at Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY on Thursday 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. Ann's Church, Nyack, NY. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery Nyack, NY.
