Manuela Diaz, 88, of Valley Cottage, NY, passed away on December 4, 2025, surrounded by her 4 children.
Manuela was the beloved mother of Rosa, Phil, Susana, and Beatriz, and mother in law to Joseph Gavin, Claudia Diaz , and the late Ralph Esposito. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Thomas, Dylan, Matthew, Simone, Julia, and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Manuel (Lito).
Manuela was born in Joez, La Coruña, Spain on September 28, 1937 and emigrated to New York as a young woman. She loved to sew, knit, and cook for her family. She was also an avid fan of Real Madrid.
Visitation is on Tuesday December 9 at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY from 4-8 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday December 10 at 10:00 am at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Congers, NY followed by burial at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx.
