Born on October 17, 1981, in Nyack, New York, Michael lived life with passion, humor, and an unmistakable spirit. He was known for his fiery personality, but those who knew him best understood that beneath that strong exterior was an incredibly generous, kind, and caring man who would do anything for the people he loved.
Michael was a proud and dedicated member of Local 825 for over 20 years, Michael built a career defined by hard work, determination, and pride in his craft.
In his free time, Michael found joy in the things that fascinated him most. He could spend hours watching YouTube videos, diving into long debates about just about anything, building intricate LEGO sets, and growing his comic book collection.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Toniann Moynihan; his loving mother, Catherine Moynihan; his brother, Thomas Pasalano; his sister-in-law, Gabriella DiVenere; his brother-in-law, Josh Fielder; along with many extended family members, friends, and coworkers who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
Though his time with us was far too short, Michael leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, laughter, strength, and unconditional generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him, but his memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the lives he touched.
Visitation will be held at Michael J Higgins, 113 Lake Road, Congers, New York 10920, on July 24, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
