Patsy D’Introne, a loving husband, dad, brother, grandpa and uncle, was reunited with the love of his life, Mary on July 1, 2022 at the age of 92. Patsy was the ultimate family man that really loved every aspect of his life. Patsy leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his many stories and pleasant demeanor.
Patsy was born on June 16, 1930 in Yonkers, NY to the late Joseph and Mary D’Introne (nee Cavuto). Patsy was one of four children and as the only boy was the prince of the family.
Shortly after graduating Saunders Trade and Technical School, Patsy was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Korea until 1953. He was very proud to have served his country and reached the rank of staff sergeant. Upon returning from Korea, Patsy met his future wife Mary Etler, also from Yonkers. This was truly love at first sight and a real love story that has been enjoyed by many. It started with him taking a chance on a pretty girl at a soda shop and ended with them being inseparable for the next 66 years. Patsy lost his wife Mary in 2019 and has been heartbroken since.
Patsy and Mary lived in Yonkers where they raised four wonderful children. Patsy enjoyed his 38 years working for Refined Syrups and Sugars in Yonkers.
Patsy’s passions were spending time with his family, visiting Atlantic City, and vacationing on Long Beach Island. In recent years, he could be found laughing and solving the world’s problems with his best buddies at David’s Bagel Shop in Valley Cottage.
In addition to wife Mary, Patsy is predeceased by sisters Mary (Jim), Angie (Angelo) and brother in law Mike. He was a devoted father to: Joe (Sue), Ed (Lynne), daughters Elizabeth Mulligan (Barry) and Patti Fagan (Tim). A beloved grandfather to: Tara Folmer (Rich), Patrick, Michael, Christopher, Luke, Brad, Scott, Timothy, Katie and great- granddaughter Demi. Loving brother to his sister Grace and uncle to many nieces and nephews and “brother” to his best friend till the end, Matt.
