Robert H. Holgerson

peacefully on December 15, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife ofalmost 70 years, Phyllis (nee Weng) and his two daughters and son-in-laws, Patty & Jimmy and Cathy & Michael. He is also survived by hisfour grandchildren - Kristen (Michael), Andrew (Griselle), Sean(Amanda) and Timothy (Amanda) and his four great-grandchildren - AJ, Jack, Cody and Lily. Robert’s greatest pride was his family and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Robert was born in Manhattan but lived his entire life in the

Kingsbridge section of the Bronx. He met the love of his life, Phyllis, in 1949 at the RKO Theater and they’ve been together ever since. He was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was deployed on the U.S.S. Purdy. When he returned home, he promptly started his career with Con Edison where he worked as a lineman for over 40 years.

A Wake will be held on Friday, December 19 from 3:00 to 7:00 at

Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20 at 10:00 at Grace Episcopal Church 130 First Ave. Nyack, NY followed by a burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hasting on Hudson, NY.
