

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert M. Tomaselli, who passed away on June 12, 2026. Born on March 26, 1960, in White Plains, New York, Robert made his home in Congers, New York, where he built a life centered on family, friendship, and community.
Robert was the loving and devoted husband of Pegeen “Peg” Prevot. He was a proud and dedicated father to Vincent (Danielle), Michael (Brett), and Robert J. He was also a cherished stepfather to Sabrina Solomon (Ali), Charles Prevot, and Kimberly Prevot. His greatest joy came from his role as “Pop Pop” to his beloved grandchildren: Smith Solomon, Conor Prevot, Cieran Prevot, Emilia Tomaselli, and Jack Tomaselli.
He was predeceased by his brother Vincent and is survived by his brother Raymond (Stephanie), along with his nieces, all of whom he held dear.
Robert was deeply committed to his community. He was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7104, where he proudly served as Grand Knight from 2023–2024 and remained an active Trustee. He was also an active member of the Haverstraw Elks Lodge #877.
Known for his warmth, humor, and larger-than-life personality, Robert was truly the life of the party. He had a remarkable ability to make those around him laugh and feel welcomed, and he was someone who always showed up for the people he loved. Whether as a husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, or friend, his presence was a constant source of strength and joy.
Professionally, Robert was a highly respected and hardworking member of the HVAC industry and was employed at Air Power, Inc. A true master of his trade, he took great pride in his work and earned the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family. We are deeply grateful for the years, memories, and time we shared with him.
He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
