

Born on September 1, 1946, in Yonkers, NY, to Roy and Ruth Fridenberger, Ruthann married her beloved Carlo in 1965. Throughout her life,Ruthann held various jobs,including as a school bus driver and working with special needs children. However, her most cherished role was being a devoted wife and mother. She was the heart and soul of her family, supporting her husband’s career while raising their three sons.
Ruthann spent countless weekends at her boys' sporting events in Lodi, NJ, where she cheered them on with unmatched enthusiasm. Later in life, she continued that tradition by cheering for her four grandchildren.Ruthann's other love was her dog Lucy, who was her constant companion and accompanied her everywhere. Ruthann had a gift for making friends wherever she went, and her kindness and positivity were felt by all who knew her.
Ruthann was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruth, her loving husband of 46 years, Carlo, her brother Roy, and her sister, Donna Welge. She is survived by her three sons and daughter-in-laws, Anthony (Michelle), Michael (Lori), and Frank (Shannon), her four grandchildren (Frank, Michael,Amanda, and Dominick), and her siblings, Susan Villani, Bobby Fridenberger, and Gail Goldsmith,who will forever remember the warmth and love she brought to their lives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Parlor in Congers, NY. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, January 31st, at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine's Church in New City, followed by burial at 11:15 AM at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spring Valley.
