

Born and educated in Libmanan, Camarines Sur, Philippines, Salvador is an experienced Master Electrician. He immigrated to New York in 1989, worked and retired from the Engineering Department of Northern Riverview Nursing Healthcare Facility, where his hard work, honesty, dedication and work ethics had earned him not once but several Employee of the Year Award! Salvador loved to fish and would share his catch amongst friends and neighbors.
A great day for him was being out in the sea, and even with no catch for a day, he would still say he had a wonderful time. He was very passionate with his karaoke singing and enjoyed playing Solitaire, Bowling and Basketball on his laptop computer despite having Glaucoma on both eyes. He was loved by all and took care of his wife after a Stroke for over 20 years.
He is survived by his two sons (Edwin and Ursulo) and two daughters (Agnes and Ofelia). Together with their spouses, Salvador had 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Consuelo and another son Isagani. He cherished his time spent with family especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren who all have made him very proud.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at Michael Higgins Funeral Home, Congers, NY and a funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at St. Paul's Church, Congers, NY. On February 22, 2025, a funeral service will be held to honor his life at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, Minuyan IV, Sapang Palay, CSJDM, Bulacan at 10:00 AM, then his ashes will be laid to its final resting place beside his wife Consuelo at Holy Haven Columbary at Holy Haven Eternal Park, Brgy. Poblacion I, CSJDM, Bulacan, Philippines following the service.
