Vera Marie Kolka passed away on April 25, 2012. She was born in Haverstraw, NY on Sept. 15, 1929 to Robert and Vera Meehan. Vera has been a resident of Rockland County for over 70 years. She is survived by her children, Maureen and her husband Robert Cifuni, Michael and his wife Betty, Robert and his companion, Cindy Kuckenberger, and Colleen and her husband Keith Richard. She will be missed dearly by her 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her daughers-in-law, Margaret Kolka and Amy Jacobs. Vera was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph; and her two sons, Jeffery and Timothy. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 27 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Higgins FH, Congers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 10am at St. Paul's Church, Congers. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake.
