

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent McNulty, age 87, on April 21, 2025, he passed peacefully with the love of his life, Nora by his side.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Vinnie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Vinnie attended Catholic Central High School in Detroit where he made lifelong friendships.
In November of 1965, he married Nora McNulty (nee Taylor) and began a family in Livonia, Michigan. In 1972, they moved to New City, New York where they would live and raise their family for 26 years. After the children were grown, Vinnie and Nora moved to Mahwah, New Jersey. Later in life, they enjoyed many winters in Fort Meyers, Florida reconnecting with cherished high school friends.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Professionally, he established himself as a respected and fair salesman, while working for Edwards Brothers and Allied Paper Corporation where he took great pride in cultivating strong relationships with customers.
Vinnie held his Irish heritage close to his heart, reflected in his love of the music and customs. In addition to honeymooning in Ireland, Vinnie and Nora took several trips back to sight see and golf.
Vinnie was a generous man with a sharp wit, always ready with a story or advice. He was actively involved in the Clarkstown Soccer Club, played golf regularly and enjoyed attending his children’s and then grandchildren´s sporting events. He was an avid reader with a passion for history.
He is survived by his wife Nora, his sister Eileen Wolowiec, children Vincent (Elaina), Theresa (Brian) Clapp, Matthew and Daniel; his grandchildren Aidan and Cameron McNulty; Maggie, Liam, Sean, Kieran, and Catherine Clapp; Maeve and Colin McNulty, as well as, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary McNulty, his sisters Marie and Frances as well as his brothers Eugene and Martin.
The family will be welcoming friends and relatives at Higgins Funeral Home 113 Lake Road Congers, New York 10920 on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 4-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 11:30 am at St. Augustine's Church 118 S. Main Street New City, New York.
