

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Vincent James “Jimmy” Travaglini,a beloved brother, uncle, friend, businessman, and one of the familiar faces who helped define the heart of Congers.
Jimmy was born on September 30 th , 1949, to Joseph and Kathryn Travaglini and was a lifelong resident of Rockland County. Jimmy was the proud owner of The Last Chance Saloon, a place that became far more than a neighborhood gathering spot. Alongside his family, he created a true sanctuary where everyone was welcomed, friendships were forged, laughter was shared, and
countless memories were made. Quick-witted and endlessly entertaining, Jimmy always had a story to tell and a way of making everyone around him smile. His warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness made every guest feel like family.
He was also the owner of TravCon Construction & Excavation, working alongside his brothers and later his nephew to build a respected business throughout the community. Jimmy took immense pride in the company’s spotless reputation for integrity,
exceptional service, and quality workmanship. He believed in doing every job the right way and never hesitated to go above and beyond for his clients, many of whom became lifelong friends.
Jimmy was predeceased by his beloved brothers, Larry and Micheal. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him, there is comfort in knowing the three brothers are together once again.
He is lovingly survived by his longtime partner, Lisa Rinaldi, whose love, commitment, and companionship were a treasured part of his life; his beloved sister, Natalie; his nephew, Joseph; his niece, Lauren and he husband Scott; sister in laws, Nancy and Claudia; and extended family and friends whose lives were forever enriched by his generosity and unwavering kindness.
Jimmy will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his selfless heart, and his quiet generosity. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, never asking for anything in return. His love for animals reflected the compassion he showed to all living things, and his kindness touched countless lives.
Jimmy’s legacy is found not only in the businesses he built, but in the people he cared for, friendships he nurtured, and the community he helped shape. His life was a testament to hard work, loyalty, humility, and love. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished. His stories, his laughter, and remarkable example he set will live on in the hearts of all who the privilege of knowing him.
