Earl F. Rettinger

Earl Franklin Rettinger, 85 of Connersville, died Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Majestic Care of Connersville. Earl was born December 1, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Francis and Virginia Reed Rettinger. He was the owner of Allbrite Industrial Cleaners for 32 years. Earl even cleaned windows of many high-rise buildings in Chicago. He is survived by his daughters, Virginia (Terry Sparks) Flaugh of Connersville and Christine Wyatt of Richmond; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Josh and Justin Rettinger, Kraig, Chad and Whitney Wyatt, Tisha Gosnell, Dennette Lewark Tiffany Grier and Chelsea Flaugh-Kiskaden; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Eloise Sacre of Richmond and Patricia (Keith) Hall of Ohio; many more family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Earl is preceded in death by his wife Faye Rettinger; son, Earl Dale Rettinger; grandson, Brian Joseph “BJ” Adams; and sister, Joyce Singleton. Funeral service for Earl Franklin Rettinger will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, 920 Central Ave., Connersville with Pastor Chris Lovett officiating. Visitation will 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
