Melly...
How my heart breaks for you at this time. Josh was truly a gentleman and that's because of the morals you instilled in him. Such a handsome young man. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Won't be able to make it Friday, my week to work but I want to remember Josh as I knew him. Heaven is truly receiving a special angel. Love to you and the boys

To all of Joshes family,
Please know that his brothers from the Marine Corps will forever be greatful for Josh. He was the life of the party and made everyday easier. You are now our family and we as Marines will always protect our family. To Joshes daughter. Your father was always very proud of you. Please know that you have several "uncles" out here spread throughout the country that are and will always be here for you. The picture I included if from this past weekend at Daytona. Josh road with us at 200mph and got us through to a great finish. With love and respect my heart hurts for all you.

I offer my most sincere condolences to the family of Josh. As you know Josh has many brothers from his time in the Marine Corps, and though we are not blood Josh will always be apart of our family. There will be a good number of us in attendance of Josh's memorial on Friday. As I saw someone else say there are far too many memories with Josh to list just one, and if I'm being honest most of ours shouldnt be discussed in polite company. His smile could light up the darkest room and he had a laugh that was utterly contagious. Tristan, we are all terribly sorry for the loss of your dad. He spoke of you often and would show off pictures any chance he could. You are his entire world. No one can replace Josh but I want you to know if you are ever in need of anything at all, I think I can speak for all of his Marine brothers when I say we are here for you. Again, I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Josh will be sorely missed by us all.

Rest in peace Brother,
Until Valhalla
Brothers Eternally

We moved to Connersville when Delinda was starting 7th grade. That's when Josh became part of our life's. Josh & Delinda gave my husband Gene French and I one of the four most Precious's gift when have ever been giving Tristen Nicole. On August 28th the same date God called Josh home 15 years ago Tristen was born. As far as memories I could never mention only one because there are so many.
Gene & I loved Josh like he was our son.
We will continue to honor Josh in death just as we have in life and Always make sure Tristen his only child is Always taken care of..
Rest in Peace Josh ❤

Mel, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know your heart is broken! Words alone just cannot ease the pain but prayer for comfort can. I will be praying for you and your family during this difficult time. I wish I was able to attend Josh's viewing but I have another obligation but please know that you will be on my mind and my heart while you try to get through this. I will continue to keep you in my prayers for the coming days too. Draw on the memories that you have, the family and people around you and to God for strength. I watched your boys grow from little guys into find young men. Be proud of a job well done. Keep your eyes to the sky <3

Mel I have so many fun and memorable times of josh with our family. From grade school age over night with bradley and going to church with us. To grade school through high school. He went on our races in Indianapolis with us out to dinners. You and I had so much fun following school bus to sports events (convertible). Oh and giving Josh and Bradley their 18th Hawaiian birthday themed birthday party. He was such a big part of our lives new year celebrations 4th july gatherings and just bomb fire nights relaxing. You and I could write a book of our boys and their escapades you experienced a big one coming home early after work opening your garage door haha. We had a big laugh after a time gone by lol. We will miss Josh so much he had a happy gut laugh and was always there to help this ole mama2 if needed. I love you mel my deepest heart felt prayers of comfort go out to you and your boys. Love you Rita Lemen
