I am so sorry for your pain and sorrow. I met Katie through my ex sister in law because they were best friends. I just remember her being such a sweetheart. I had no idea she was sick and I pray that while Katie is now at peace that God brings strength and peace to her family as well. You all have an angel now watching over you. I lost my 10 yr old son suddenly 21 months ago and know the road you as a family are going down is a long one. I prayed for all of you as soon as I found out and will continue to do so.

I knew Katie when I worked at the video store in Hartford, her mother and father also came in too. I did not know she was ill and I am shocked at her passing so young. May the Lord wrap her in His arms of love and protection. Be at rest, Katie. My sympathies to her mother and father and everyone.

My thoughts and prayers are with Barb and Vince and all of Katie's extended family. I have known the family for years and can only imagine the heartbreak they are feeling now. Peace be with you.

Katie and I were friends in high school. And even though we had lost touch, we reconnected over Facebook. Very sad that she is gone.
