A Connersville native, Myra was born January 9, 1949 to Eldon and Shirley Richardson Gabbard. She graduated from Connersville High School in 1967 and achieved her Associates Degree in Social Work from Indiana University East, Richmond. Myra’s big heart was displayed daily, especially during her career as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children. Myra loved tending to her flowers and was a member of Fayette County Garden Club where she received her Master Gardener certification. She never met a stranger and was known to ‘turn everything she touched to gold.’ Myra was an amazing wife, mother and friend to all. In addition to her mother, Shirley Gabbard of Connersville, Myra is survived by the love of her life, Jack L. Galloway, who she married on January 17, 1969; her children: Shayne P.
