My Grandpa was an extraordinary man who will be missed dearly. He was one of the smartest men I knew, there was not 1 question asked to him that he didn't know the answer to. He had so many amazing stories, you were never bored while around Grandpa. If ever there was a problem he almost always had the fix. I love you so much....until we meet again.

Virginia and family,
Just wanted to express our sympathy to you with the death of Rife. While growing up,, those many years ago in Connersville I had the opportunity to know and become his friend and a good friend was he. He was a hard worker and always took the time to talk with me and I appreciated that. He was kind, thoughtful, and faithful and that is how I will always remember him as we pray for you.

Just a note, Bev, to let you know that I was sorry to see this about your Dad. I didn't know him personally, but had always heard good things about him and from knowing you and some of the others in the family through Alquina School I know he had a great family. Thoughts and prayers for all of you at this time. I am sure all the good memories you have will be a blessing to you and be a comfort in the days to come.

I've been a part of his family for 44 years. Married to his son David for 31 years until his passing on November 25,2011. We talked on the phone a lot. When he called me and I would answer, the first words out of his mouth was "Tammy Rude this is the old man" and the conversation began. I have many good memories. I will miss those calls. I feel blessed to be apart of his family. Rest in peace.
