Stephen L Herron
March 2, 1975 – December 21, 2020
Connersville native Stephen “Stubby” Herron, 45, died Monday, December 21, 2020 following a lifelong battle with his health.
Steve was born to Don B. and Linda Ledford Herron on March 2, 1975. He graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1993, and furthered his education at Grace College. Steve attended First Church of the Nazarene with his parents prior to attending Blooming Grove Christian Church. More recently, he attended New Hope Tabernacle in Connersville. Steve enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and walking with his special canine companion, Miles. Above all, he adored spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply. Though he faced many struggles, Steve found strength in his faith and belief in Jesus Christ. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Steve is survived by his loving significant other: Falisha Durham; Son: Collin Herron; Daughter: Brooke Cassidy and her husband Kevin all of Connersville; brother: Jeff Herron and wife Shanna of Mentone, Indiana; sister: Tracy Herron of Connersville; brother-in-law: John Mahuron of Connersville; grandchildren: Kinley, Collin, and Nolan Cassidy; nieces and nephews: Maggie, Benjamin, and Lily Herron, Kayla and Krystyna Lafollette, and Zachary Schoenfeld; several great nieces and nephews and many friends.
Steve is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Gladstone and Helen Herron; Maternal Grandfather: Jesse Ledford; Maternal grandmother: Leola Ledford Rensink and Victor; Sister: Tama Mahuron; Aunt Diane; his faithful canine: Miles.

So sorry for your loss Don & Linda Herron steve was one of my best friends .. remember when I use to come over and we would dress up like ninjas.. go out play football in the field behind your house .. are ride our bikes in the woods in the trails .. to playing basketball .. I sure will miss stub he was always smiling .. I'm so glad I got him to play on the legends team .. last year .. prayers for you and the family .. love you all

Don, I never knew your son, but I am praying for you and your family. So much we have to go through in this evil old world. I have pleasant memories of you and your sisters, when we were younger.
