He enjoyed engaging others in conversation and story-telling was a special talent. He and his sons enjoyed refurbishing vintage windmills together; their home is now known as the “windmill farm”. Barbara, Andy, and Eddy, I'm so sorry to hear this news. I know you'll all miss him terribly. I have fond memories of Arnold as a kid and he was always so kind, interested and interesting.
I looked at your farm on Google one day and discovered Arnold's mowing skills. Who's going to take care of the windmills? Who's going to mow happy-face crop circles in the field? Who'll send messages to the pilots from Jacksonville? So amusing. It still brings a smile to my face when I think about it. He must have taken great pleasure and pride in all that . . . and all of you.
Many will miss him. Take care.
