Austin,
I just got an email from Gabe saying he read in the paper about Russell. I did not know!! Our family has had a lot of loss in a year. As you know, I knew your Dad as a young man and he will always be that way in my mind. He helped me through some teenage problems and I will always remember his laugh! Your mom and Dad took care of all of my kids through many of my surgeries and illnesses. I loved them both. May God be with you as you cross yet another difficult path in your life. I love you..

I was so sorry to hear about Russell's passing. I have so many great memories of all of us growing up together as neighbors. I wish I could have been there for the service, but being in another state sometimes makes that tough. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
RIP Russell.

Russell was like a brother to me. He was very special and just what my sister needed. Look for the roses Russell, you know Bonnie will be gluing some on for you. Love you and we'll miss you. Till we meet again. Barbara Vaughan

Russell was my favorite uncle. I have many fond memories of him from when I was a child - camping, fishing, water skiing, him and my dad working on projects together. I know my dad thought a lot of him. My mom (Margaret) always carried a stick of gum in her purse in case her baby brother asked, did you bring me a stick of gum? Because of the age difference she helped raise Russell and loved him dearly. My thoughts, prayers, and love go out to Austin and Bonnie.

Uncle Russell will be missed. I remember all the times he visited us when we were kids. He and mom have always been good for each other, making each other laugh and feel good!

We felt an instant connection to Russell and Bonnie when we met them just over a year ago. We were so sorry to hear of Russell's passing. Russell was always so much fun and witty, very sharp, even though he disliked getting old. He seemed to keep his spirit upbeat. We are praying God's wonderful peace apron you all.
